A strong and assured goalkeeper, Billy O’Brien proved his worth last season to earn a two-year scholarship at City’s Academy in July 2012.

Billy was a regular for the u16s last season thanks to his excellent distribution and handling. The Bury-born keeper has excellent reach thanks to his 6ft stature and is excellent at claiming crosses, providing confidence for the defence in front of him.

A lively and outgoing character, Billy is a popular member of the squad looking to kick on in the 2012/13 campaign for a place in the EDS.
