Emyr Huws is a Wales international midfielder who joined City from Swansea in 2009. 

A goalscorer in City's first win in the NextGen Series against Fenerbahce in 2012, Emyr enjoyed a hugely successful loan spell at Northampton Town last season, returning to captain City's EDS for the last few weeks of the season.

Huws is a defensive midfielder with the ability to break from deep and orchestrate attacking moves. Other qualities include excellent passing range, good stamina and an eye for a long range shot.

Emyr made his Football League debut for Northampton on 13 October 2012 in a 3-0 win over Exeter City at Sixfields.

He was called up for senior international duty for the first time in November 2013 for the friendly against Finland.
