James Milner played the full 90 minutes as England drew 2-2 against Ecuador.

The City midfielder played the first 63 minutes at right-back before pushing into the middle for the closing stages during an entertaining game in Miami.

There was no Joe Hart, with Ben Foster earning a rare start as Roy Hodgson shuffled his pack with only one more warm-up game for the Three Lions before the World Cup begins on 12 June.

England were behind after eight minutes when Enner Valencia powered home a header, but Wayne Rooney levelled from close range on 29 minutes.

Rickie Lambert put England ahead on 51 minutes but Michael Arroyo's spectacular equaliser ensured a 2-2 draw. Both teams ended with ten men after Antonio Valencia and Raheem Sterling were given their marching orders following a scuffle.

England face Honduras on Saturday ahead of the World Cup opener against Italy.

Elsewhere, Emyr Huws was a 62nd minute sub for Wales who lost 2-0 against to Holland.

Argentina cruised to a routine 3-0 win over Trinidad & Tobabgo with Martin Demichelis starting the game in Buenos Aires. He was replaced by City team-mate Pablo Zabaleta at half-time but there was no involvement fro Sergio Aguero.

Yaya Toure was an unused sub in Ivory Coast's 2-1 win over El Salvador in Texas.
