There are still a few places remaining on Platt Lane's brand new course for anyone over 16 who is interested in coaching football.

The course provides an introduction to the organization and delivery of safe and enjoyable coaching sessions for players, providing practical drills to develop players’ technical skills such as shooting, turning with the ball and heading.

The course will run for 4 weeks on a Tuesday evening from 6pm – 8pm. For the first 2 weeks the coach will lead the session, teaching every aspect of coaching at this level. On weeks 3 and 4 the candidates will deliver their assigned topic. As part of the course support sessions are offered for those who go on to take the full Level 1 course.  Candidates will be given resources to take away to help them progress as a coach.

The course costs £40.
