There’s a great opportunity to support the young Blues next week, as City’s Under 18s have been pitted against Corby Town in the FA Youth Cup third round tie at Ewen Fields.

The junior Steelmen, who play in the Northants Senior Youth League, beat Dagenham and Redbridge 3-2 on penalties in a dramatic second round clash and now face a mouth-watering tie against the Blues at Hyde FC.

Adam Sadler’s side will be looking to better last season’s Cup run, with City knocked out of the competition in the fourth round following a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Nottingham Forest.

The Blues have regularly topped the Barclays Premier Academy League table this season, with talented striker Jordi Hiwula leading the way, scoring 10 goals.

The tie has been confirmed for Wednesday 30 November. The game will take place at Hyde FC and will kick off at 7pm. Ticket information will be confirmed in due course.
