City u18s take on Blackburn Rovers in their third league home game on the spin, hoping to claim consecutive wins in the Barclays u18 Premier League.

Adam Sadler’s men clinched a morale-boosting 4-1 win over Arsenal last time out, in a game which saw both managers keen to give some younger players a chance to impress.

Joe Nuttall continued his red-hot goalscoring form with a hat-trick to down the Gunners and Norwegian winger Bersant Celina also chipped in with a goal in the convincing win.

Blackburn, who are managed by Terry McPhillips, have seven points from their first four games of Phase 2 of National Group 2.

Kick-off at Platt Lane is at 11am on Saturday morning and it is free entry for supporters wishing to come down and support.

We’ll bring you team news and live goal updates on Twitter, as well as a full match report from the game on Saturday afternoon.
