Harry Bunn, Jordi Hiwula and George Swan capped an unforgettable and humbling experience in Ghana with a busy last couple of days.
On the penultimate day in Ghana the travelling party began with a quick rehabilitation session before they were given a very interesting challenge.
The task was to travel to Atimboku, firstly by boat across the River Volta and then by car to find ten items from a shopping list.
The list was not as straightforward as the boys would have liked as it included many specialist local items.
Once on the other side, a quick taxi took them to the bustling town where traditional music was blaring onto streets with traders carrying all manner of food and drink on their heads, showcasing amazing balance and poise.
With some items hard to find the boys took it in turns to hunt down their items and did extremely well considering some of the goods were unknown to them.
The evening was then spent at a Q&A with the students and gave the boys a chance to distribute some City pin badges and kit to those who have helped over the week.
On the final day (Wednesday), the party went to see the "Black Satellites" or the Ghana under-20 team play.
Although they won 3-0, some great skill and endeavour was on show by both sides and a great advertisement for African football.
On Wednesday evening the party are due to depart around 5pm, flying from Kotoka Airport to a somewhat cold and chilly Manchester early tomorrow morning to bring an incredible and humbling experience for the City trio to an end.
