The 16-year old has been in fine form during the 2015/16 campaign...
Brahim Abdelkader Diaz, to give him his full name, has been making the headlines in recent weeks for his performances with City U18s.
His performances have drawn praise from many City fans and the young Spaniard is a popular figure in the dressing room with both players and coaches.
Commenting on the 2015/16 campaign, Brahim said: “I’m very happy with how things are going this season, it’s a dream come true for me.
“I’m still trying to chase the big dream, which is to get in the first team. I’m very thankful to all my team mates because they help me both on and off the pitch, especially with my English.
“This season has been great for me and I can’t wait for more!”
We take a look at some of the key points in his season so far…
First team training
The fresh faced 16-year old was days away from making his debut for Wilcox’s side when he was selected to train with the first team in late October, along with Bersant Celina.
First City goal
Three weeks after making his debut against Liverpool, Brahim notched his first goal for the U18s in the four-goal thriller against Blackburn at the City Football Academy.
City were trailing 2-1 heading into the final ten minutes before he nodded home from Callum Bullock’s cross to level the scores and a share of the points with the Lancashire-based side.
Two days after the above game, the youngster headed to Las Rozas in Madrid to meet up with the Spain U17s squad for the first time.
Since then, Brahim has been involved with Santi Denia’s squad on numerous occasions and has been called up to the squad for the upcoming UEFA Euro U17 Elite Round qualifiers.

Brahim's Borussia brilliance
The teenager shone again in the UEFA Youth League clash at the Academy Stadium. He replaced the injured Thierry Ambrose in the 38th minute before getting himself on the score sheet inside seven minutes to help the young Blues secure a point.
Club journalist Mark Booth described the goal as: "The 16-year old latched onto a short corner and exchanged passes with Nmecha via an inspired flick from Garcia to spring the Borussia defence and then produced a beautiful dinked finish over the onrushing goalkeeper to give the scoreline a fair reflection at the break.”
Youth Cup late show
Brahim made his FA Youth Cup debut in the victory at Fratton Park in the third round of the prestigious competition.
Coming close on two occasions earlier in the game, the youngster had the final say in the game when he scored the winner in the 82nd minute.
Brahim picked the ball up around 30 yards from goal, exchanged passes with Lukas Nmecha and then drove into the area before placing the ball in the bottom corner to seal progression into the fourth round.
A bit of Spanish magic
Wilcox’s side sealed a place in the FA Youth Cup semi-final with a big a Spanish magic against the Canaries at the Academy Stadium.
Brahim opened the scoring in the first half with a wonderful solo effort before a ferocious strike from Manu Garcia set up a two-legged tie with Arsenal in the last four.
Speaking about the goal, the 16-year old said: “It was a really good pass from Demeaco (Duhaney) and I made a good run to connect onto it. I brought it down and tried to finish it, so I’m happy with the goal but most important we progressed into the last four.”
Goal of the season candidate?
