Baltimore Part 2
Part 1 of the Baltimore guide >
Family Friendly Day Activities– if you are traveling with your children and want some family friendly activities; Baltimore is chocked full of entertainment for everyone all within a stone’s throw of the grounds and hotels.
Baltimore Science Center – A great memory of mine when I was a child. This is a good place to spend a couple hours if you have the kids with you. They can run around and play with things until their heart is content.
National Aquarium – Baltimore is lucky enough to have the National Aquarium. It is certainly one of the crowned jewels of Baltimore living. A world-class facility would be worth your time just to see the penguins and mile long shark tank walk.
Camden Yards – Baltimore is home to the Baltimore Orioles. This proud franchise has been in Baltimore since 1955 and has won 3 World Championships. Despite those accolades the true prize of the organization is our breathtaking stadium – Camden Yards. Built along the “longest” building on the East Coast of America it was erected in 1992 and has been repeatedly named America’s greatest baseball stadium. There isn’t a bad seat in the house and they give tours daily.
Things to think about – Baltimore is a wonderful and available city to all of our guests. I am proud to call it my home. However, if this is your first time to our charming town please try to stay where there is a large group of fans or use the guide above to advise you as to where the locals go to safely eat, sleep, and play.
All our best and once again – WELCOME TO BALTIMORE! We are happy to have you!
