City in the Community will again be involved with Manchester City Council in organising a week of free sports and health activities that give young people with disabilities the chance to train alongside non-disabled pals.

This summer's Children's Able and Disabled Sports week camp will run from August 10 – August 14 at Sportcity and is open to both boys and girls between the ages of eight and 19.

Activities will run from 10am – 3pm and will include football, athletics, wheelchair basketball, squash, rugby, cycling, cricket and skateboarding.

The week’s activities will see young people of all ability integrate while learning new skills and having fun together.

Each week CITC provides free football for over 100 young people with disabilities as part of the One City Disability project funded by the Premier League/PFA Community fund.

For more details on the CITC disability project, contact Daniel Landstrom on 0161 438 7711 or e-mail
