The last few places remain for a brand new Enterprise initiative through a developing partnership with CITC and the National Enterprise Academy.
The scheme builds on the already successful CITC Skills and Enterprise programme that gives young people the opportunity to learn about MCFC as a business rather than just a football club.
The NEA is the brainchild of entrepreneur and Dragons’ Den star Peter Jones CBE, who set up the Academy to be a catalyst for cultural change in the UK, encouraging and stimulating more entrepreneurial activity.
Their goal is to equip young people for the future by providing them with the skills and confidence to aim higher and be more successful in the workplace or starting their own businesses.
The programme provides a unique opportunity for young people aged 14-16, allowing successful applicants to spend one week at MCFC working alongside the NEA.
As well as giving a fun and interactive introduction to enterprise, participants will gain a unique insight in to the workings of the Club as a business. Those who complete the course will be awarded an NCFE Level 2 award in Enterprising Capabilities.
This is a unique and exciting partnership that will combine education, innovation and active learning in order to encourage young entrepreneurship.
