Derby shirt auction raises £11,000

The online auction for the shirts worn in last February’s derby win at Old Trafford has now closed.

The total amount bid for the City squad’s shirts topped £11,000, and the money raised will go the New Children’s Hospital Appeal.

Goalscorer Benjani’s shirt went for the highest price of all, £1,505, with Stephen Ireland just behind on £1,450.
