Our intrepid team of talented Blue buskers are back this weekend and will be performing outside the Stadium before the Burnley game on Saturday.
Here’s some info on who is playing –
Mathew Hibbert
Mathew is a south Manchester-based singer/songwriter (and big City fan) who lists Bob Dylan, The Doors and Neil Young as influences. He’s busked as far and wide as Australia and Germany, and was featured on local TV singing ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ by Oasis on the streets of Frankfurt during the last World Cup.

Mark Heywood
Mark Heywood (or Mark and the Magic as he’s sometimes known) is an extremely talented Manchester-based multi-instrumentalist who really impressed us all with his songwriting skills at the audition.

Steve O’Donoghue
Making his Busking for City debut this Sunday is Steve O’Donoghue, who recently put out his first album (which has gone down a treat in the MCFC offices). Steve specialises in melodic, acoustic-driven indie and is well worth a listen this Saturday.

The Reveres
Local indie/rock outfit The Reveres will be performing an acoustic set of their own songs with the odd cover thrown in for good measure. A combination of poetic lyrics and melodic hooks give this band a unique yet classic sound that fans of T-Rex and Led Zeppelin will really enjoy!
