Turbo-charged striker Craig Bellamy has run away with the inaugural Etihad Airways Player of the Month award.
Dashing crowd favourite Craig pulled in an incredible 57 per cent of the thousands of votes you registered to make him the overwhelming winner for August and September.
Fellow striker Manu Adebayor, who has started his City career with a four-goal flurry, polled 13 per cent to come second and tough-tackling Nigel de Jong took third spot with 10 per cent.
But nobody stood a chance of catching two-goal derby hero Bellers, whose super form since stepping up for injured Robinho has won over any doubters after his January move from West Ham.
His crucial strike against Arsenal, coupled with a bravura performance at Old Trafford and his continued influence on and off the field, make Craig a hugely popular opening recipient.
Competition winner Ian Goldberg, drawn at random by Etihad from all those who nominated Bellers, will make the presentation and co-interview Craig for mcfc.co.uk later this month.
David Ball, whose goals have lifted him to the senior bench, was chosen for the Reserves award by coach Glyn Hodges, while defender Tom Smith took the Academy award on manager Andy Welsh's nod.
