Voting for the Etihad Airways Player of the Month award for October is now open!

One lucky fan who votes for the winning player will be selected at random to present the award and take part in the interview with the player at the Carrington Training Centre!

City started October with a battling 1-1 draw at Aston Villa, where Stephen Ireland came on and changed a game in which Bellamy hit the equaliser. But Martin Petrov grabbed the eye and the headlines with two notable goal-scoring performances against Wigan and Fulham.

Wednesday night’s thumping win over Scunthorpe United gave some food for thought, with Ireland, Santa Cruz, Lescott, Tevez and Michael Johnson all finding the net and catching the eye
