Etihad Airways has unveiled a dozen ‘hackney carriage’ Manchester taxis in its unique black and gold livery.
The taxi sponsorship was unveiled at the stadium with club mascots, “Moonchester” and “Moonbeam”, joining in the fun.
The airline recently became our new official shirt sponsor, and the taxi sponsorship is the latest initiative to build awareness of Etihad Airways in the Manchester area.
Clive Wratten, Etihad Airways UK country manager, said: “We are delighted to have these eye-catching Etihad-sponsored taxis on the road in Manchester. The black and gold branding makes the taxis standout and is a novel way to build our brand profile across the city.”
Etihad Airways flies 21 services a week from London Heathrow and 7 flights per week from Manchester to its home base in Abu Dhabi.
Currently Etihad Airways offers flights to more than 50 destinations in the Middle East, Europe, North America, Africa, Australia and Asia.
