City are delighted to announce the club will embark on a pre-season tour of the United States of America as part of their preparations for the 2010/2011 Premier League campaign.
The Blues will visit the States in July, with an exciting itinerary of games and events being planned.
Full details are yet to be announced, but City will be playing games against a number of high-profile opponents in different cities along the East Coast.
The US tour comes off the back of a highly successful 2009 trip to South Africa, when the Blues played in the Vodacom Challenge tournament against Orlando Pirates and Kaiser Chiefs.
City Chief Executive, Garry Cook, said: “The summer tour of America is going to be tremendously exciting for Manchester City.
“It is going to be another groundbreaking trip for us, following on from last summer’s visit to South Africa.
“I am well aware of the support there is for us in America. It’s important for us to take City into new territories, and help spread the word to new and existing Blues fans around the world.”
Further details of City’s Stateside tour will be announced in due course, along with information on travel packages available for Blues fans.
