Following last week’s Social City piece which highlighted (pardon the pun) the lengths that City fans will go to in order to show their love for the club, this week we were stumped by this remarkable photo taken by MShaw84 and posted on Flickr from the summit of Mount Snowden, the highest point in England and Wales. We’d love to see if anyone can beat this!
With the launch of the brilliant Tevez ‘Pasion’ campaign, building up to tomorrow’s huge derby game, we asked our friends on Twitter and Facebook to scour Manchester city centre in search of the stickers adorned with our South American ace that Blues fans have stuck around town. Here’s a sample of some of the shots we received.
XFM Manchester’s Gareth Brooks liked the design (produced by the man famed for the Barack Obama ‘Hope’ image, Shepard Fairey) so much that it now sits pride of place on his box of records.
A special mention must go to Kenneth Westlake of Helsinki, Finland who took it on himself to help spread the word around his hometown!
