A round-up of what’s happening on the MCFC social networks:

Bloggers receive seal of approval

With over 60 independent fan-sites, blogs and forums dedicated to the club, City are one of the most talked-about sports clubs in the world online.

That’s why we’ve decided to reward some of our hard-working bloggers with their very own official MCFC endorsed Blog Badge.

So far there are just a handful of blogs displaying the badge; chosen for their quality, frequency of posting, presentation and originality, but more will be added soon.

Look out for the badge next time you’re hunting for City gossip online as blogs displaying the badge are a sure-fire hit when it comes to talking about the Blues!

Choose the match day music with the Umbro Playlist

Due to its immense popularity last time out, the Umbro Playlist returns for the 2010/11 season.

You must know the drill by now but for those who don’t, check out the MCFC fan page on Facebook to find out how your musical taste could win you tickets to our first home game of the season against Liverpool on August 23rd.

Fun day stream is a hoot

Last week’s live streaming of the Family Fun Day and Open Training Session on mcfc.co.uk and our Facebook page was an absolute hit.

Thousands of you tuned into our live broadcast to watch the players take part in a light-hearted session and four lucky winners on Twitter correctly tweeted that Ade’s Army were the winning team and won a pair of tickets each to City vs Valencia.

There’ll be loads more great competitions and exclusive content on our social networks throughout the season so make sure you’re connected!
