One young City fan will make it a weekend to remember for his mates after winning tickets to Saturday’s FA Cup tie.

Earlier this week, City’s shirt sponsors Etihad Airways launched a competition exclusively for local schoolchildren, and at stake was a prize of 18 tickets to see City take on Stoke for a place in the quarter finals for the FA Cup.

Kieran McKeown (pictured in the middle here) of St Brigid’s Primary School in Beswick was the lucky winner, and he has generously invited school friends, team mates from his football club and his coaches to the game.

Club Ambassador Mike Summerbee dropped in at St Brigid’s on Friday lunchtime to present Keiran and the runners-up with their prizes, which were given for correctly answering the following question:

Which of the following destinations do Etihad Airways fly to?

A: Sydney B: Bangkok C: Singapore D: Abu Dhabi or E: All of them

The answer is, of course, all of them! Well done to Kieran, enjoy the game!

You may not be as lucky as Kieran, but you could still come along to the game - tickets are on sale up until kick off at 5.15pm on Saturday. It's £22 for adults, £17 for concessions and just a fiver - yes, only £5! - for juniors.
