The new City Magazine is out now and features an exclusive interview with flying winger Adam Johnson.
The former Middlesbrough star reveals his early influences and family life in the north-east and reveals he’s still pinching himself over his dream move.
Also featured is rising star Abdisalam Ibrahim. The young midfielder reveals how his family fled war-torn Somalia to settle in Norway before his football talents saw him move to Manchester.
Also, to mark the 30th graduation from City’s ever-productive Academy, a new series begins focusing on the first 30 players to make it to the senior squad beginning with the flag-bearer Shaun Wright-Phillips plus Terry Dunfield and Chris Shuker.
Elsewhere, another new series kicks off with Cult Heroes spotlighting the mercurial genius that was Kaziu Deyna, while The Season take on a new look this month and focuses on the troubled final campaign of long-serving manager Les McDowall.
With 90 minutes, Blue Planet and a pull-out ‘I will give my all' Craig Bellamy poster, the City Mag remains the best-value, most diverse club magazine in the country, still priced at just £2.50.
Available at the stadium or Arndale City Stores or most good newsagents. If you’d like to subscribe, simply go to www.mcfc.co.uk/magazine.
