Manchester City will welcome a new line-up of heroes this season.
However, unlike World Cup internationals David Silva or Yaya Toure, the new crop of "local heroes" come from Withington, Heaton Moor and Middleton.
The True Blues were chosen as part of "Be the face of Manchester City", a competition to front the new Seasoncard marketing campaign "Be part of it".
Ten winners from Withington, Droylsden, Marple, Middleton, Sharston, Tytherington, Blackley, Chatterton and Heaton Moor will see their faces and stories on billboards, buses, newspaer ads and posters all over Greater Manchester.
Competition winner Peter Kenny, from Withington, wrote: “One of many reasons I love coming to the games is spending time with my daughter who is also a Seasoncard holder, and now my four-year-old grandson as well.”
Jon-Paul Twigg, aged six from Blackley, said: “I love to hear the fans singing Blue Moon - you know the players will be out soon. I love the roar when Tevez, Adebayor or Bellamy score. I dream of playing for City in a game when fans will cheer my name.”
Chris Kay, Head of Marketing for City, said: “Our fans have always been at the heart of the Club. Our Seasoncard holders particularly are the true unsung heroes, who come to every home match, whatever the weather.
"This is our way of acknowledging their loyalty and to say thank you for their support.”
Seasoncards for the new season are still available. A family stand Seasoncard, comprising one adult and a child under 16 years old, is priced £500.
