We are delighted to announce that the club's Twitter followers have collectively finished top of the inaugural Twibbon Premier League.

A Twibbon is a way of showing your support for a particular cause or club to all your followers and friends on Twitter by adding their image to your profile avatar.

All twenty 2009/10 Premier League teams have a Twibbon and rivalry can become pretty fierce, especially when there is pride at stake!

Over 1,600 people added the official MCFC Twibbon to their Twitter profiles this season and after fending off tough competition from Arsenal's fans, the City twitterati duly finished top of the league as announced this morning on the Twibbon blog!
