Manchester City have today announced plans for the development of the club’s official iPhone app with London-based creative agency Aqueduct.

Following on from the plaudits received for the club’s new official website launched in July 2009, the iPhone app will give fans access to all the award-winning content including videos, statistic and more, wherever you are. Your club is now in your hands.

Post your favourite articles direct to Facebook or Twitter, check-out the upcoming fixtures and club events and add them to your personalised City calendar, swot up on your knowledge in the players section and if you can’t be at the stadium on a match day, City Live will bring you exclusive text commentary and statistics from the game.

The club want fans to be involved in the process, too. Supporters can follow the development of the app on this exclusive blog where staff working on the app from both MCFC and Aqueduct will be posting the latest screenshots and ideas and asking for your feedback. This is your app, after all.
