"Live from City Square", our exciting entertainment show to make match days even better, wouldn't be the same without live music - and we've lined up a "heavenly" performance for you on Sunday.
Fallen Angelz, a four-piece female band and finalists in this season's Citysound competition, will play a three-song set as one of the highlights before the 4pm kick-off against Sunderland.
We've also added former Blues favourite Nicky Summerbee to a super cast-list sure to make the big launch a big hit with supporters who get to the City of Manchester Stadium early.
That's not all. Sunderland chairman and City cult hero Niall Quinn has agreed to an exclusive chat to delight True Blues everywhere. Just don't expect him to be wearing his disco pants!
There’s also a unique “football boules” competition for fans at half time with a potential £25,000 prize on offer, as well as Street Soccer and City in the Community's popular inflatable games.
To enhance the experience a brand new licensed 'family friendly' bar area has been created in front of the main City Square stage so you can enjoy a pint and grab a bite while watching the show.
When the final whistle goes, you don't need to - the show will go on in City Square after the match finishes, with additional food outlets in the new licensed area.
As with the current bar supporters will be asked to show their Seasoncard or match ticket to gain access. Get your tickets online with no booking fee.
So don't leave it too late to get to the City of Manchester Stadium on Sunday - there's even more reason now to make matchday a big day out for family and friends.
We're so excited we're already planning the next Live from City Square show against West Ham on 1 May. Now it really is more than just a game!
