The fans were out in force to get a rare peek at what goes in in training when Roberto Mancini and the City squad decamped to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday. Gravity-defying enthusiasm was the order of the day early doors.

The Joe Hart Fan Club (Etihad Stadium branch) was out in force.

The face painters were busy, and the stars from the club crest were a nice touch.
