What a start to the new campaign for Roberto Mancini's men - and what a shortlist to savour for the inaugural Etihad Player of the Month award of the season.

Premier League starts don't come any better than played three, won three. The buoyant Blues have come out of the blocks faster than Usain Bolt with a trio of top team performances.

Etihad, our official club sponsors and the world's leading airline, are delighted to continue the popular monthly competition that allows you, the fans, to decide City's Player of the Month.

And as in previous seasons, one lucky supporter will be drawn at random to meet the winning player for a chat and to present the award at our Carrington training base.

There will be an out-and-out favourite of course when fans cast their votes - super striker Edin Dzeko made sure of that with four fabulous goals in the 5-1 victory at Tottenham on Sunday.

He was already up there thanks to goals in each of City's opening two victories over Swansea and Bolton following his Community Shield strike at Wembley at the start of the month.

Sergio Aguero's stunning two-goal debut against Swansea emphasised his world class, while David Silva's velvet touch and sublime vision have sprinkled stardust on the Blues’ perfect start.

Gareth Barry, so often the unsung hero, has put in crucial midfield shifts - capped by a cracking goal at Bolton - while James Milner stepped in seamlessly in Nigel de Jong's absence.

Whether it's Edin or one of his team-mates who gets your nomination, the polls are open now - but they close on Sunday at 23.59pm. So don't delay, vote now!
