There will be plenty to keep you entertained in City Square before Roberto Mancini’s road warriors take on Norwich this Saturday.
After three consecutive away games, the top-of-the-table Blues will be bringing it all back home in front of another sell-out crowd, and if you’re one of them don’t miss out on what’s in store in our dedicated fan area by the CityStore.
The bars and cafes around the square are open from around midday, while Hugh Ferris and Natalie Pike will be on onstage with Live From City Square just after 1pm. They will be joined by the star of “Shameless” and lifelong City fan David Threlfall, while the exciting up-and-coming local act The Rainband will perform a four-song set after 2pm.
There are also prizes galore on offer – Saturday sees our outdoor EA Sports gaming zone unveiled, and if you’re a hotshot on FIFA 12 then a pair of match tickets could be yours.
Or you could instantly upgrade to a hospitality package for Saturday’s game – if you can take our Manchester Egg challenge! It’s the delicacy that’s all the rage – pickled egg, wrapped in black pudding and sausage, topped with breadcrumbs – yum! First of all, register by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org, make sure you can be in City Square for 2pm and we’ll pick three entrants.
Keep your eyes on the big screens for an interview with one of the players as they arrive, the reading out of the team sheet live from the tunnel and Roberto Mancini’s thoughts on his selection for the day. Look out for Fanzone Danny as he roams the area for your match predictions.
City Square – it’s the place to be, don’t miss out!
