Sing when you're strolling ... not a problem for the world-famous Halle Choir, who will be adding to the fun at Sunday's Santa Stroll fund-raiser at the Stadium.

They'll be turning out to regale a record 1,700-plus fans who will be in perfect harmony - and sky blue Santa suits - to play their part in helping the Shoot for the Moon partnership.

Blues boss Roberto Mancini will kick off proceedings as the official starter at 11.30am, while Patrick Vieira will be among the famous names setting out on the 2.5k event.

Patrick and Shameless star David Threlfall can both be sponsored to complete the course with a donation to Shoot for the Moon by clicking here. Early Doors' John Henshaw and Ex-Corrie star Bill Tarmey also take part.

So don't miss out. Santa Stroll is the centrepiece of our festive family fun day but the more ambitious have the option of a 5k fun run, which starts and finishes in City Square.

We've borrowed a couple of reindeer from the North Pole for the occasion, and there'll be lots more besides, including a great festive market, snowboard simulator, activities for the children and the Snowball Challenge.

There will be plenty of entertainment from local bands and singers

All participants will also receive 15 per cent off at the CityStore on the day by showing a valid race number.

Santa Stroll - in association with e-foods and - is all about City fans getting together, having fun and raising as much money as we can for vulnerable young people and families in Manchester.

Shoot for the Moon was created by MCFC and Sport Relief as a fundraising partnership in order to help young people reach their goals.

Entry to the Santa Stroll costs £15 for adults and while the junior Santa suits have completely sold out, children are welcome to attend free of charge with their parents.
