Another social media milestone for the club was reached this afternoon as the club's official Twitter feed posted its 10,000th tweet.

Manchester City have been actively tweeting since July 2009 as a source of information, engagment and exclusive, behind the scenes content for all our followers around the world.

The feed is also fast approaching its 50,000th follower making it one of the most popular sport-related accounts on te social networking site phenomenon.
