It wouldn't be a home game without the City buskers! Introduing the talented quartet of Blues who will be out in force tomorrow afternoon pre-game for your listening pleasure...
Johnny Breakwell
Johnny (pictured above) is an established singer/songwriter who originated from Southampton. He is a big City supporter, and is loving being in Manchester to study Music. Many of his songs are available for free download on www.myspace.com/jonnybreakwell or you can check out some of his performances on youtube. He sings covers as well as originals, and hopes you enjoy the game this saturday!
Joe Faherty
Local-lad Joe hails from nearby Droylsden and we're delighted to hear that since he has been busking at City he has been playing lots of gigs around Manchester and Tameside. Joe is a big fan of Manchester music and will throw in the odd classic for your enjoyment as well as a couple of his own tunes. He hasn't a website as yet but search for him on Facebook and he will say 'hello'!
Steve O'Donaghue
Steve is one of the longest serving City buskers but is actually making only his first appearence of 2010/11 at tomorrow's game. Soulful and melodic with an ear for a lovelorn tune and insightful lyrics, we're sure you'll enjoy Steve's set before the game.
Alan Bates
The man, the myth. Alan needs no introduction. Apparently he has cranked up the volume of his ukelele-driven performances to counter the PA system at City Square with the recent acquisition of a banjolele. Never seen a banjolele before? Neither have we but we can't wait to hear it!
