Love City? Love cycling? Then here's a wheely good piece of news to ring your bell from a Club spokesman.
The ever-popular Bikeability School Holiday Scheme is back - British Cycling are returning to the Etihad Stadium for a fun-packed two-day course.
We are giving children aged 8-14 the opportunity to improve their cycling skills and build their confidence to ride safely on today’s challenging roads.
Bikeability training for the younger generation ensures lifelong skills of safe cycling are ingrained at an early age and encourages a healthy lifestyle, boosts confidence and develops independence.
The course costs £10 and includes a tour of the Etihad Stadium and two days of cycling skills sessions incorporating on-road tips from experts at British Cycling Cycle Training and Go-Ride.
If that’s not enough we’re also throwing in a high-viz vest, British Cycling goodie bag and British Cycling water bottle.
The course will run on Wednesday 17 and 18 August from 10am-3pm each day with registration on day one taking place at 09.50. Children will need to bring their own bike, helmet and a packed lunch.
Each child will require a completed parental consent form and in order to secure your place you will need to contact the team on 0161 274 2129 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
