Shay Given is in Abu Dhabi to coach local children at the latest Etihad Manchester City soccer school.

Before the action begins, one of our coaches gets the kids properly warmed up.

Shay is pictured with, amongst others, Briony Trevethan, sponsorship manager of Etihad and Steve Hall, commercial director for Al Jazira FC.

We all know him as a world-class goalkeeper, but Shay is always keen to show off his silky skills further upfield. He's ghosting past the defence here as he does his version of Maradona's dribble against England at the '86 World Cup.

The tables have turned! Shay saved the day, quite literally, in a shoot-out against Aalborg in 2009 and now he's showing these lucky youngsters where the Danes went wrong.
