Due to the fantastic response to our last Bikeability Holiday School we are delighted that British Cycling will return to the City of Manchester Stadium for a fun-packed FREE three-day course.
We are giving children aged between 8 and 14 the opportunity to become healthier, improve their cycling skills and build confidence to cycle safely on today’s challenging roads.
Cycling promotes a healthier lifestyle, encourages children to integrate cycling into their everyday life and empowers them with the confidence to ride safely, all benefits to the community.
The free course includes a tour of the City of Manchester Stadium as well as basic cycling skills and on-road tips from the experts at British Cycling Cycle Training and Go-Ride.
If that’s not enough, we’re also throwing in a high-viz Vest, goodie bag and water bottle.
To participate on April 18-20 (10am-3pm), children will need to bring their own bike, helmet and a packed lunch.
Please download here for a more detailed itinerary. Each child will require a completed parental consent form (please see attached) and in order to secure your place you will need to contact the team on 0161 274 2129 or cycletraining@britishcycling.org.uk.
Please note the course is fully funded through British Cycling’s Cycle Training Department, and there are only 30 places available, so please book early to avoid disappointment.
