With the City of Manchester Stadium packed to the rafters, thousands of City fans are expected to line the official route of the open-top bus journey from the city centre to Eastlands.
Following the open top bus tour, the City squad will be joined by former players and special guests to create a memorable evening, finishing with a dramatic firework display.
Gates will open from 6.30pm, with coverage of the bus parade on the Stadium big screens and family entertainment before the main event begins at 8pm (see beneath map for event running order).
Supporters without a ticket for this event are encouraged to line the parade route rather than visit the Stadium as access will not be granted to people not in possession of a valid ticket for the event due to safety reasons. Please see map for details of the exact parade route.
CoMS running order:
Phil Jones (Oasis tour DJ) will be playing some tracks from 7.00pm as the event starts to build and we track the bus as it gets closer to the stadium.
The first live music performance will be Kid British at 7.45pm, followed by Supra, the band famous for our stadium version of Blue Moon at 8.00pm.
Between 8pm and 9.00pm a number of very special guests will join us on the pitch prior to the team being announced onto the field at around 9.00pm.
Due to the nature of the event exact timings are subject to changes.
Bars and food kiosks will be open from 6.30pm and supporters can take their food and drink into the bowl.
Fans are advised to arrive early to beat the traffic. Alan Turing Way will not be impacted by the road closure, however Ashton New Road and Great Ancoats Street will be closed as the bus draws near from approx 7pm.
North Car Park will be open for £10 cash sales on the day as per match day. Availability is limited however.
All usual car parking facilities will be available on site for the event, including car parks 1 and 2 for cash sales. Further travel information will be provided in the coming days to ensure that supporters get to the event safely.
