Whose form was hotter than the weather? Which City star sizzled in September? Time is running out but you can still vote for the Etihad Player of the Month award.

Mario Balotelli launched a late bid, of course - the Italian striker made his only start of September against Birmingham City and played for 30 minutes against Everton – but he scored in both games.

He locks horns with hot favourite Sergio Aguero, who scored five goals in September, following his hat-trick against Wigan with a brace in the 2-2 draw at Fulham.

The ever-magical David Silva, who could probably have been voted man of the match in every game he’s played this season, is also certain to challenge strongly.

Three more clean sheets for Joe Hart make him an automatic choice for one of the five nominated players, while Micah Richards has caught England boss Fabio Capello's eye once more with a series of powerful displays.

The polls close at midnight on Thursday, so don't delay! Take your pick and you'll have a chance of presenting the Etihad Player of the Month award to the winner in person, so vote now.
