City are huge favourites to end 2012’s home fixtures with three points.
Roberto Mancini’s side are 1/7 in betting partner Paddy Power’s online prices with bottom of the table Reading at 16/1 and the draw at 7/1.
Sergio Aguero, Javi Garcia and Yaya Toure all got their names on the scoreboard against Newcastle in the 3-1 win and the champions are 9/1 to repeat the score line against the Royals before they head into the busy Christmas schedule.
City have scored eight goals in their last five Premier League games and Toure has scored in each of the last two games. The Ivorian international is 7/1 to be the first goal scorer against the Royals or 17/10 to score at anytime over the 90 minutes.
And while Roberto Mancini was impressed by the win against the Magpies he has urged his players to convert more of the chances they create with their free-flowing football.
Aguero and Carlos Tevez started up front against Newcastle as the Blues won for the 13th consecutive time that the compatriots have started together.
Aguero’s 10th minute goal and Spaniard Garcia’s 39th-minute strike set City up for a 2-0 lead at the break. A half-time score of 2-0 to City against Reading and a full-time score of 3-1 is 45/1.
The first half to have more goals is 9/5 in Paddy Power’s online betting while the second half to have more goals is 10/11. The champions to score two first half goals is 13/10.
Reading haven’t scored in their last three league games on the road and were beaten 5-2 on Monday night by Arsenal which sent them to the foot of the table.
City are 5/6 to keep a clean sheet, 11/10 to win both halves and 10/11 to win to nil.
Aguero is 3/1 to open the scoring while Tevez is 5/2. Aguero to get the opener and City to win 3-1 is 22/1 in Paddy Power’s Scorecast betting.
Paddy Power offer 8/5 that Man City win with three or four total goals in the game while exactly four goals over the 90 minutes is 7/2.
City to lead at 10 mins is a 10/3 shot while the first goal to be scored up to and including the 19th minute is 10/11.
The last time these sides met was in an FA Cup clash in 2011 when City ran out 1-0 winners thanks to a Micah Richards goal in the 74th minute. City are 17/2 to win the game 1-0.
