The Barclays Premier League champions return to domestic action against Michael Laudrup’s Swansea after the midweek disappointment against Ajax.
Paddy Power make the Blues 2/9 to sign off on another home win with Swansea at 12/1 and the draw priced up at 5/1.
City ran away with this game last season as Edin Dzeko opened the scoring in the 57th minute before Sergio Aguero (2) and David Silva made it 4-0 at the full-time whistle.
A repeat of that score in Saturday’s late afternoon match is currently 10/1 in Paddy Power’s online betting.
If there’s a goal in injury time, Paddy Power will refund all losing ‘Next goal-scorer’ bets on the match.
Bosnian striker Dzeko rescued the three points for 10-man City last week when coming off the bench to score two late goals in the 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns.
Dzeko - City’s leading scorer with six goals despite starting just four of the 13 games in all competitions this season – is 7/2 to score the first for goal of the game and 8/11 to score at any time.
Sergio Aguero is 13/5 to score first for his side and 8/11 to score at any time but David Silva could miss out with an injury picked up while on duty with Spain.
City only opened the scoring after half-time in last season’s home fixture – their first against Swansea since 1982 – and Paddy Power go 22/1 it’s 4-0 again in the second-half correct score market.
Manager Roberto Mancini hailed his side’s 3-0 win over Sunderland – their first clean sheet at the Etihad this term – as important and City are evens to keep another clean sheet in Paddy Power’s win-to-nil market.
Swansea made a flying start to the season with a 5-0 away win at QPR but haven’t scored in their last two games on the road which have both ended in 2-0 defeats.
Manchester City to win and score one or two goals in the match is trading at 3/1 while the home side to win and score three or four goals is 13/8.
In Paddy Power’s total goals market, four or more goals is trading at 11/10 with over 3.5 goals also on offer at 11/10.
