City and Spain’s Denis Suarez has been shortlisted for the 2012 Northwest Football Awards’ Rising Star accolade.
The award recognises the achievements and potential of some of the region’s most talented young footballers.
Suarez has been the stand-out player in Attilio Lombardo’s EDS side so far in this season and has bagged three goals this campaign.
