FA Cup magic: Meet the winners

Three generations of die-hard City supporters from Cheadle Hulme were treated to the best seats in the house for the FA Cup third round win over Watford on Saturday.

The Moody family, winners of our magical FA Cup experience competition, ran on last month, were invited by City CEO Ferran Soriano to watch the game alongside him.

Ian Moody, who has been coming to games for the last 24 years, took along his two boys Max (aged 4) and Joseph (aged 6), as well as his father David to the match.

As part of the prize, the Moodys were granted access to the Chairman’s Lounge, ate a meal in the Chairman’s Lounge and watched the game from CEO’s seats in the Directors Area which are heated and padded with high-back seating on the half-way line - without doubt, the best seats the stadium has to offer!

Every fan who bought tickets to the third round encounter was automatically entered into the draw for the tickets and Ian, who is a seasoncard holder in Colin Bell Stand Level 3, had initially purchased four tickets in the family stand, before he learned of his incredible prize.

“Wow what a day!  Thank you so much for an incredible experience and one we will never forget,” was Ian’s reaction as his memorable day came to a close.

“To meet all the players after the match was literally a dream come true for the boys.”

As well as meeting the squad after their 3-0 triumph, the family were also given access to the Premier League trophy for an amazing photo opportunity and chatted with Ferran Soriano, Mike Summerbee and Patrick Vieira

It was the first game that the family had attended together and will be some act to follow!

Keep checking for more competitions for once-in-a-lifetime City experiences.
