We have been advised by QPR of the following major road works on Shepherds Bush Green which will affect local traffic on the day we are playing QPR at Loftus Road, Tuesday 29th January, kick off 7.45pm.  We strongly advise additional time be added to your journey to allow for these works.

Major road works warning

Shepherd’s Bush Green closure 28 January 2013 to 25 February 2013

Residents, commuters and road users are being warned about a series of major, essential road works in Shepherds Bush in the New Year.

A month-long closure of a westbound section of Shepherds Bush Green is planned from January 28 so that National Grid, working with Skanska, can replace aging metal gas mains with tough new plastic pipes on the eastern far corner of the Green.

This means that the road will be closed to westbound traffic from January 28 to February 25, with diversions in place and potential for serious traffic disruption across Shepherds Bush and into neighbouring Kensington and Chelsea.

The westbound carriageway of Shepherds Bush Green will be completely closed between Holland Park Roundabout and the W12 Shopping Centre.

  • Signed diversions, up to the A40 and down Old Oak Road then Askew Road, will be in place and engineering teams will be working seven days a week and extended hours to get the job completed as soon as possible.
  • The bus stops in Shepherds Bush Green near the W12 Shopping Centre will be suspended and some local bus services will change during this time.

Please visit London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham website for more information www.lbhf.gov.uk. Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Supporter Services Team on +44 (0)161 444 1894 (option 1, option 3).

The Ticket Office and Supporter Services are open Monday - Saturday, 9am to 5:30pm (closed Sunday & Bank Holiday). Both facilities will open on the day of all scheduled First Team home fixtures and Supporter Services will be open on Tuesday 29 January from 9am until kick off.
