Manchester City are backing local side Wythenshawe Amateurs in their bid to win a £100,000 grant from the Football Association to build their very own home.
The club has reached the shortlist for Budweiser’s ‘Club Futures’ competition and could receive a £100,000 ‘super grant’ allowing the club to build a bespoke clubhouse and improve their playing facilities. The club is the last remaining hopeful from the North West in the competition, as well as the only club without their own clubhouse, and is depending on votes from football loving public.
To show your support for the only team in the North West to be competing against the other sides in the UK, visit the official Facebook page and vote for Manchester’s next super club, the Wythenshawe Amateurs.
