Velocity Futsal showcase game

This Saturday, over 200 riders will take to the Velodrome track at the National Cycling Centre, testing their nerve and endurance and raising money for the City in the Community Foundation.

Returning for its second year, CITC will be hosting a charity Futsal showcase game with a former City players team taking on Manchester Futsal Club.

Last year, Patrick Vieira captained a strong Legends team as they tested their skill and speed against a talented squad from Manchester Futsal Club.

All fans are welcome to come and enjoy this showcase game and experience Futsal, which originated in South America.

Alex Williams, manager of the MCFC Legends team, is encouraging fans to come along and sample the Velocity atmosphere.

"City and the Community welcome all supporters to cheer on the team," he smiled. "And you can enjoy the quick feet and skill you see in a Futsal game.

"We look forward to seeing as many fans as possible at the Velodrome."

There is still time to get your tickets for this Saturday's Premier League clash with Fulham - and after last week's heroic win over Hull, the Blues are looking to gather momentum as the title race enters the final lap.

Three points are vital against the Cottagers and you can make the difference.

A capacity Etihad Stadium in full voice will be the perfect fillip for Manuel Pellegrini's side with Fernandinho dedicating the victory at Hull to "our fantastic fans" that helped the 10-man Blues edge over the line at the KC Stadium.

Make the difference this weekend, too - be there and get behind the lads! Get your tickets here.
