All the best odds from Paddy Power ahead of Saturday evening's Premier League clash...
It’s hard to ignore the similarities between this season and 2011/12.
That season City won their final six games to lift the trophy on goal difference. If they finish this season with five straight wins they could very well lift a second title by virtue of superior goal difference.
First up is a trip to Goodison Park, a trip which hasn’t proved very fruitful for Manchester City in the Premier League era.
However having beaten Everton 3-1 at the Etihad earlier in the season Manuel Pellegrini will be confident he knows how to break down Roberto Martinez’ side. A repeat of that 3-1 win at 11/1 would be ideal but any win at 3/4 will keep the Citizens in pole position going in to the final week of the season.
Despite their excellent season Everton have lost two of their last three games, including a 3-2 loss at home to Crystal Palace. If a long season battling to get in to the top four has taken its toll then City can take advantage.
As always picking a goalscorer for City is hampered by the number of all too viable options.
Top of most people’s list will be Sergio Aguero at 7/2 to score first and 8/11 to score anytime. The Argentine notched his 16th Premier League goal of the season against West Brom and could yet hit the 20 mark before the season ends.
The next most popular option is Yaya Toure who has an incredible 19 league goals this season, three times more than he’s ever managed before. He’s 6/4 to continue leading by example and score anytime in this game. And let’s not gloss over Edin Dzeko has who has 5 in his last 8 games and is 9/2 to score first should he start.
