With the new Barclays Premier League season upon us, City fans from around the world will have the chance to share their messages for the Champions on the big screens at Sunday's game.

That's right! #blueview returns for the opening home game of the season as the Blues take on last season's Championship hotshots Southampton.

Before Sunday's game against Nigel Adkin's promoted side, City fans can get their name is lights by tweeting a pre-match message of support for the lads by including the hashtag #blueview.

Between 2pm and 3.10pm, we will display the best tweets received from fans both at the Etihad Stadium and abroad on the big screens at CitySquare and within the main stadium bowl.

So, wherever you are in the world send us your thoughts ahead of the big kick-off and be part of it!

Join over 440,000 City fans around the world by following the club's official Twitter account.

Note: We are aware of connectivity issues in and around the Etihad Stadium on match days, particularly as we build up to kick-off. If you are struggling to get a 3G connection on your phone, you could always text a tweet.
