City EDS host Reading on Friday, looking to leapfrog the Royals in the Barclays U21 Premier League table.

The Blues welcome the Berkshire outfit to the Academy Stadium at lunchtime, hoping to erase their opponents' three-point advantage and take their place on goal difference.

As Everton do not play until Monday, Simon Davies' men could rise to fourth.

City head into the clash on the back of a useful 2-2 draw at third-placed Tottenham, which saw Sinan Bytyqi make his comeback from injury and Angelino find the net for the first time since returning from his loan spell at New York City FC.

Reading, who signed lifelong Blue George Evans earlier this week, fell to a 3-1 defeat in their last game - the visit of Manchester United.

Kick-off for this encounter is at 1pm GMT at the Academy Stadium, City Football Academy, Manchester, M11 3FF.

Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Office located on the first floor of the CityStore until 11am on matchday, or online.

Tickets purchased online will be provided as a Print@Home tickets only, though tickets can also be purchased on matchday at the ticket machines located outside the Academy Stadium (City Plaza).

We will also have live coverage of the clash on Twitter, a match report shortly after full-time and match highlights in the following days.
