Would you like to eat the same meals as your favourite player?
Well, now you can, thanks to our talented chefs at Carrington sharing some of their closely guarded secrets in our exclusive Eat Like a Player series. There are new recipes every moth in ManC - the official magazine of MCFC - but here's another to be getting on with in the meantime.
Baked Salmon with warm Nicoise salad
Ingredients: (serves four)
4 x 6oz fillets of skinless salmon
100g cooked new potatoes
75g black olives
Sunblushed or cherry tomatoes
Zest of one lemon
25 fluid oz
Teaspoon of grain mustard
- Place the salmon on a roasting tray and season it. Bake for 10-15 mins at gas mark 6
- Combine diced new potatoes, black olives, sunblushed tomatoes, green beans with dressing, and warm gently (microwave for one minute is fine)
- Lay a salad base, and placing the cooked fish on top
