Liam Broady lost the Boys' Singles Final at Wimbledon despite taking the first set 6-2.
The Stockport-born City fan was hoping to lift the title and become the first Briton to win it since 1962, but Australia's Luke Saville took the second set 6-4 and the deciding third set 6-2 in front of a noisy crowd on Court No.18.
Hopefully, this will be the first of many finals for Broady, who revealed in a recent interview he was a boyhood Blue.
Broady also progressed to the Boys' Doubles semi-final, though was denied a second final when he lost just hours after the singles final - but he'll be back!
Look out for an exclusive interview with Liam on mcfc.co.uk in the coming days.
