City's youth team warmed up for a midweek Manchester derby with a hard-fought win over Huddersfield on Saturday.
Ahmad Benali and Emerick Hippias were on target to put the young Blues back on the right track after last weekend's defeat to Nottingham Forest. It was a somewhat easier story for the Under 16s, who romped home to the tune of an 8-1 win.
Tuesday sees City take on United in a game re-arranged following the cold snap around the turn of the year.
