Saturday’s misery at losing the Premier League derby in injury time was not lifted any by the news from Nottingham where the Blues Academy side lost 3-2 to Forest.
A strike from Benali and an own goal weren’t enough to extend Scott Sellars’ team’s unbeaten run to seven.The under 16s drew 3-3.
Next up for the Academy sides is Huddersfield Town on Saturday before a re-arranged midweek mini-derby against United on April 27.
